Hi Sofia, warm welcome to FPX! What do you do when you are not on the FPX board?
-I work at the Swedish Land Survey, Lantmäteriet, as unit manager for Market at the Geodata Division. Lantmäteriet meets society’s need for geodata – basic geographical information and property information. Lantmäteriet is responsible for the national property register in which there is up-to-date information on all properties in Sweden. Our responsibility includes making the information / data better and more easily accessible and useful, so that it can be useful in an increasing number of applications. The market unit is responsible for making geodata available, support, management, coordinating the availability of geodata within the national infrastructure as well as national collaboration and advice to municipalities, authorities and other stakeholders in the geodata area.
What expentations do you have with your participation on the FPX board?
-I see it as an opportunity to gain a better insight into how Lantmäteriet can contribute to the development of society. I also see an opportunity to share the insights, knowledge and geodata that Lantmäteriet has in relevant areas.
Last but not least, how do you spend your spare time Sofia?
-In addition to spending time with family and friends, I spend a lot of time at the gym. I enjoy challenging myself. Right now the focus is on back squat, dead lift and bench press.
