Thomas Castor, Process Manager Innovation
Hi Thomas!
You’ve been with us now since early September as Process Manager for our Platform Innovation.
What are your reflections so far?
I feel very inspired and motivated but at the same time I also feel that it’s a very complex and challenging task I have.
Tell me, what is it that you do in your role?
My main task is to drive Innovation through collaboration and to continue developing Gävle Innovation Arena together with our Collabs. My goal is to be able to run projects that result in increased growth and innovation in the region.
Tell me a little about yourself
I grew up in Ludvika in Dalarna but I’ve been living in Gävle for about 20 years. I have a background with GIS Training and for the past 10 years I’ve been working as Project Manager in the Telecom business. I’m married and have two kids. Leisure time is spent with the family, horseback riding with my daughter and hockey with my son. As a family we enjoy spending the summers on our boat in the Stockholm Archipelago. I’m a golf enthusiast, but these days there is just not enough hours in the day to spend time on the golf course.
