We wecome Xue Li back to us at Future Position X after a year on parental leave. She will work as Operations Manager of Gävle Innovation Arena.
For those who doesent already know you Li, tell us a bit about yourself.
– I came to Sweden from China in 2008 to study at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, in Stockholm. After my master’s degree at KTH I started my journey at Future Position X in 2010.
I have seven years’ of experience executing cross-border business development and emerging growth go-to-market strategies. In addition I am very used to performance-driven, project management implementation and thrive in team environments. Connecting and engaging with international networks builds deeper understanding of different business, cultures and allows experience sharing between people. The collaboration that stems from this type of work inspires me.
I also enjoy my life with my family here in Gävle. For the last two years my husband and I designed and built a modern house in the new area of Järvsta, where we live with our two lovely children.
Back to work after a year off. How does that feel?
– I am very excited and full of enthusiasm to take on the new role and responsibilities as Operations Manager of Gävle Innovation Arena project. I believe that data-driven innovation is a key part in the digitalization progression/transformation that we all are in right now.
What are you mostly looking forward to here at FPX?
I look forward to work towards smart, sustainable and viable cities together with my colleagues, our Collabs and citizens. And I really like our new working place, Gävle Innovation Hub, where we work together with Gävle kommun and Högskolan i Gävle. I enjoy to work in this ecosystem where public sectors, research, industry and citizens meet. We can create things that really makes a difference.
